Good morning.
I've read on other e-mails that readers are asking that the submissions be more explicit: what museum is the listserv about, whose the author of the e-mail, examples. I believe this one pertains to the knowledge station on t.v., correct? Not all of us know the different regions and it doesn't take that much longer for the complete address, phone number and name to be included.
Thanks.

Canyon War kicks off Knowledge series "Winter 2010: First Nations, First Peoples, First Voices" January 15, 7:00 p.m.
Canyon War Productions and the New Pathways To Gold Society are pleased to announce that Canyon War: the untold story will be the first documentary shown in Knowledge's "Winter 2010: First Nations, First Peoples, First Voices" series. This three-week series focus on the people who came first - programs by and about aboriginal peoples from local, continental and global perspectives.
Don't miss this revealing story of greed, violence and heroism surrounding the 1858 war between the NLaka'pamux Nation and Fraser River gold miners, vividly brought to life by co-hosts Kevin Loring (a Governor General Award-winning playwright and actor from the Lytton First Nation) and University of Victoria history professor Dr. Dan Marshall.
About Canyon War: The Untold Story: This documentary shines a light on this shadowy chapter in B.C.'s history. This revealing story of greed, violence and heroism during the 1858 war between the NLaka'pamux Nation and Fraser River gold miners kicks off Knowledge's "Winter 2010: First Nations, First Peoples, First Voices" series. The three-week series focus on the people who came first - programs by and about aboriginal peoples from local, continental and global perspectives.
The documentary is vividly brought to life by co-hosts Loring and Marshall. Loring's descendants resisted the thirty to forty thousand gold seekers who flooded into the Fraser River in 1858 while Marshall's ancestors were among the gold-seekers.
