[BCMA] HST question

I was advised by a local book store that books, even those with CD's or
DVD's included- about the content of the book- were considered "HST of 5%".
CD's and DVD's on their own- 12%. Colouring books, blank books (eg hardcover
but no print, eg used for diaries etc) all 12%. Sounds confusing to me, but
that is what our book store received in the way of "explanation" If you take
in less than 30,000 I don't know- I phoned Rev Can and got no help.
