Subject: Pump organ to pass along

The Burnaby Village Museum has been offered a cottage, foot pump organ. It is relatively small ( 4 feet wide X 4.5 feet high)

It is manufactured by Charles F. Netzow Mfg Co. of Milwaukee USA. The company was in business from 1885 to 1931 and had a reputation for quality.

This organ is dated c. 1910 by the donor.

There is no provenance for this artifact.

It appears to be in very good condition. The finish is a light oak. There is some incised carving on the body of the instrument. It has a 36 key keyboard.

I do not know how well it plays.

I have an image of the organ if you are interested.
