Hi Tammy,
I did a little bit of research on bottles at home last night and found a couple of websites that might be helpful to you:
http://www.sha.org/bottle/machinemadedating.htm#Question%2011
http://www.myinsulators.com/glass-factories/bottlemarks.html
If you look under "question 11" on the first site, you will see a picture of makers markings that I think seem similar to what you described for your bottle. I briefly looked around at other pages on this site, but unfortunately did not see a bottle that is the same shape as the one you have.
Hope this helps you out,
-Heidi

Subject: [BCMA] Bottle identification
Hello, everyone,
A local resident brought in this bottle yesterday, wondering if we could tell her anything about it. Since I am anything but an expert on bottles, I couldn’t, so I’m wondering if anyone out there can. It’s 11 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter, and the marks on the bottom read “4601GB” There is also a symbol that looks like two ovals intersecting at right angles, with the numbers 2 to the left of it, 6 on the right, and 2 underneath.
Thanks!
Tammy
