[BCMA] CMA Clip Serv: Tories to help buy hockey sweater?

I am sorry I do not understand your sarcasm. The goal by Paul Henderson did more to unite this wonderful country of ours than almost anything else. No matter how you feel about sport, it does produce patriotic fervour in the nation. Just look to the recently held Winter Olympics. Where else in the world would people sing the national anthem in the streets? 

I do hope you are not of the camp that feels museums, good; sports, bad. Both have their place in our Canadian culture. In case you are wondering. I have been a sports fan since my Dad took me to a baseball game in the 1950s. This same man instilled in me a love of history and museums as we visited local museums on every camping trip. I now work in the heritage field and have been a volunteer for over 30 years, so am aware of the need for preservation. Quite frankly,  I am getting frustrated with some folks' narrow view of what culture is.
