Island Mountain Arts is seeking a qualified individual
to fill the position of Financial Administrator

20 hours per week, $15 per hour, year round



The Financial Administrator is responsible for the accounting,  
payroll, grant writing and all other financial aspects of the  
operations of Island Mountain Arts in addition to other tasks as  
assigned by the Artistic Director/Curator.  Prior experience in  
financial management, arts and culture or not-for-profit  
administration is an asset.

The ideal candidates will posses the following skills:
·      Excellent organizational skills

·      Time managements skills

·      Highly self motivated and able to prioritize

·      Adaptable and quick to learn


Financial Duties:
Accounts payable and Receivable
Payroll and Payroll remittances
Consignment payouts for gift shop and gallery
GST and PST remittances
Cash-outs (daily in summer, weekly in winter)
Board meeting reports – Preparation of Board Packages, including  
monthly progress report, and various financial reports
Budgets and financial projections (on going as required)
Grant writing and communication with agencies
Year end reporting for various grants and agencies
Gift shop inventory for end of fiscal year
Financial management of ArtsWells and other events
Other duties as required
