[BCMA] Museum Educators Survey

Hello BCMA listserv participants,

My name is Nadean Vonk and I am the museum educator at Langley Centennial Museum.  I am currently completing a Masters in Education with a focus on museum education working under the supervision of Dr. Fred Renihan (Adjunct Professor and former Superintendent of the Surrey School District) and Dr. Geoff Madoc-Jones (Professor, SFU).

This email is a request for British Columbia's museum educators to participate in a research study entitled "Identity and Best Practice among BC's Museum Educators".  I hope that the findings from this study will help us to better understand the role and practices of museum educators in British Columbia.

If you consider yourself to be a museum educator in any setting (for the purposes of this study the term "museum" includes a diverse array of sites including art galleries, science centres, nature parks, heritage sites, and so on) please contribute to this research by sharing your opinions and experiences in our field through a quick online survey (link below).

I will be collecting responses until Tuesday, May 18th.  The survey should only take about 15 minutes or less depending on how much time you spend on each question.
