I would encourage people to buy tickets before the 13th (early bird price
saves you $25).  You can buy tickets on line (see link below poster) or by
phone/in person at the Belfry Theatre box office(see poster).

 

There will be live performances by the Victoria Arts organizations and a
live auction, not to mention the party.  

 

It really is a great time to celebrate the Arts.

This gala event is a celebration showcasing Victoria's diverse arts
community. Four First Nations visual artists have created specially
commissioned works including a Salish woven blanket by Ann-Marie Rice, one
of kind jewellery by Carey Newman and an original painting by George
Littlechild, and in the Salish tradition of generosity will gift the art to
five local arts organizations:  The Belfry, Ballet Victoria, Intrepid
Theatre, ProArt and The Other Guys Theatre Company. 

They will in turn pay it forward, each staging a live performance as a gift
in return. The visual art pieces will then be auctioned off and all proceeds
from the evening will go to the arts organizations. This fundraiser in
support of the arts in Victoria is organized by a Leadership Victoria
Community Action Project Team in collaboration with the artists. 

Ticket price includes a free drink and Hors d'œuvre.  We hope our audience
will leave inspired to support the arts in new and different ways!
