**Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre Seeks Education Coordinator**

The Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre (VHEC) is seeking an Education 
Coordinator, to develop and implement school programs, teaching 
resources, teachers' conferences, student symposia and educational 
outreach.
 
The successful applicant should have a degree in education and/or 
history. A background in European history, Holocaust studies or museum 
studies would be an asset. The candidate should have excellent 
organizational and interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal 
communication skills and be able to manage events and multiple projects 
with deadlines.
 
This is a four-day a week position with a preferred starting date in 
December 2010.

awareness through education and remembrance of the Holocaust. The VHEC 
reaches over 25,000 students annually with its innovative exhibits, 
interactive school programs and survivor speaker program. The Centre has 
been the recipient of numerous educational, museum and performance 
awards in recognition of outstanding anti-racism and multicultural work.
