Museum Welcomes New Programs and Collections Director

October 15, 2010

The Maritime Museum of BC is pleased to announce Cuyler Page as our new Director of Programs and Collections. He takes on this role Monday, October 18th. Page brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity from his past incarnations in architecture, design and artifact preservation and interpretation.

While well versed in the Museum trade, Page also is a musician, a bassoonist and wind player, specializing in performance of Renaissance and Baroque music using replicas of historic instruments. In Victoria, he plays professionally with classical and historic ensembles, and attempts to bring a musician's love of group endeavour to life's opportunities.

He has also enjoyed roles as Site Manager of the Grist Mill at Keremeos, Curator of the Kamloops Museum, Site Manager of Craigflower Historic Site, Instructor at Cariboo College and Selkirk College, and consultant to many museums of the BC Interior.

We are very excited to have him aboard!
