[BCMA] Creston Museum Box Social on Friday

Hello, everyone,

 

This is just a quick reminder of the Box Social at the Creston Museum on
Friday, September 3.  It gets started at 5:00!  On the menu: hamburger or
hotdog, salad, corn on the cob, soft drink, and ice cream, all for only $5.
The auction gets started about 6:00, and we have some pretty fantastic boxes
to be auctioned off: 

*	The "Flower Box" - gardening supplies and a straw hat
*	The "Read and Relax" box - a couple of books and some goodies to
enjoy while you're reading
*	The "Guys Gadget" box - just like it sounds: a box full of the tools
and gadgets that guys are always wishing they had.
*	The "Alaska" box - inspired by a recent cruise to Alaska
*	The "Gleaners" box - no idea yet what's in it, but it's being
donated by Gleaners.
*	The fondue set - courtesy of a member of the Affordable Housing
Society
*	The "Quilter's Picnic Basket" - the Quilts for Kids ladies are
putting together a picnic basket that includes all sorts of goodies,
including a child's quilt.
*	The "Tomato" box - a crate of locally-grown heritage tomatoes
*	The "Jam" box - fifteen homemade jams and jellies
*	The "Bathroom in a box" box - enough said.
*	At least two "mystery" boxes, and more!

 

Can't make it on Friday?  Well, we'll miss you, but there's still time to
visit before the end of the summer.  The Museum is open Monday to Saturday,
from 10:00 to 3:30 until September 18.
