Summer Empolyment Opportunity - Gallery Youth Ambassador

The Gallery Youth Ambassador will maintain the Gallery's social networking sites with the focus to engage the teen/young adult demographic; take a lead role in planning / implementation of summer activities including the summer wrap-up event; assisting with general gallery operational duties as required.

Some post secondary education is required along with experience in event planning and working with the public.  Knowledge of arts and cultural organizations is an asset.

Skills required include excellent interpersonal/communication skills; planning, organization/time management skills; ability to work independently or as a team member; proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office and internet applications.

13 week position, 35 hours per week beginning May 30, 2011.
