Hat Creek was awarded 40% of what we applied for. This is exactly 50% of
what we had received in past years.
I encourage everyone to submit online your concerns about reduced grants.
It is very easy to submit a written submission, as most of it is questions
and answers, with a section at the end for open comments. If you are able,
attend one of the scheduled forums and let your voice be heard. Arts and
culture were the hardest hit sector in reduced grants this year. Most
applications were reduced by at least 50% of previous years.
