Hours: MOA is OPEN as usual on Dec 24 and Jan 1 (10 am to 5 pm), but CLOSED on Dec 25 & 26 for the holidays. Visit our beautiful MOA Shop for last minute gifts for yourself or a friend...

Fijian Carvers in Great Hall: Love the smell of cedar in the morning (or the afternoon)? Come to MOA, where you'll see a brand new canoe being carved in the Great Hall by two Fijian artists. Titoko Maceibure and Jeke Viwalu are here in Vancouver for several months, carving a canoe in collaboration with two Northwest Coast First Nations artists, Ray Natraoro (Squamish) and Simon Reece (Tsimshian/Cree). Due to their flexible schedule, we can't guarantee you'll be able to see and talk with the carvers when you come, but for sure you'll see their gorgeous canoe as they rough it out and finish it in time for the Tribal Journeys canoe launch in the summer of 2012! Thanks to Constant Arts Society for working with MOA to make this project happen.
