Saturday February 5th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Wine lovers rejoice - there is a new weekly wine event starting this Saturday at the BC Wine Museum and VQA Wine Shop!

Saturday Tastings is a complimentary wine tasting event designed to unite wine lovers and wineries together in one place.  The VQA Wine Shop in the Laurel Packinghouse will be hosting a different VQA winery every week starting this Saturday, February 5th, from 2-4 pm.

Saturday Tastings is designed for wine lovers to not only give them an opportunity to  sample different, quality assured wines from all over the Okanagan, but to give them a forum to speak directly with the winery operators to ask questions and to take ownership on the wines that they choose and serve.

To kick off this event, the VQA Wine Shop has invited the award-winning Kalala Organic Estate Winery to serve their internationally acclaimed wines.    Their winemaking philosophy is 'in the pursuit of harmony', which is evident in every vintage they produce.   Kalala Organic Estate Winery is located in West Kelowna, and Kalala means 'miracle place', based on a legend passed down through the family of the Proprietor, Karnail Singh Sidhu.

Here is the February line-up for the VQA Wine Shop's Saturday Tastings:

February 5th - Kalala Organic Estate Winery
February 12th - Desert Hills Estate Winery
February 19th - Volcanic Hills Winery
February 26th - Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery
