Literary Luminaries at the Nanaimo Museum

Saturday February 26, 2011, from 11am to 3pm

Join us for National Heritage week. We are celebrating the beautiful 
cultural landscape of British Columbia with our annual 'Literary 
Luminaries' at Nanaimo Museum.

The twelve local authors will talk about their work and be available for 
questions and book signings on Saturday February 26, 2011.

The presentations are from 11am until 3pm.  Refreshments will be 
available, and we will be awarding some of the feature books as 
door-prizes at the event. For a schedule of the authors' presentations

Their wide ranging topics include books about the history of Nanaimo and 
Vancouver Island, through historical fiction, westerns, books for young 
children and teenagers, to memoirs about life in the Yukon, and to wild 
life humour.

The authors include Peggy Grigor, Carol Matthews, Liza Potvin, Mary 
Murphy, Joyce Yardley, Lyn Hancock, Emily Madill, Mary Palmer, Jan 
Peterson, Tom Roulstone, Ken Joubert and Charles Reid.
