Why not trade for another charming piece of animal ephemera? Somewhere out
there is a rather decrepit papier-maché owl looking for a good home
.is it
time the BCMA adopted a bear, even a flat one, to fight the battle?
Owl must be retired by now

Subject: [BCMA] Just the bear facts
Burnaby Village Museum has a bear rug in its possession.
"Old Three Toes", as he was known in better days was a male black bear in
the Swan Hills of Alberta.
The rug includes a finished head, which is the problem. Our need is for a
flat rug.
Is there anyone who would be in a position to offer a trade across the
board.
It would be nice to make this a win, win situation (unfortunately it is too
late for Old Three Toes - but I am sure he would much rather be appreciated
than left on the shelf).
