If you want a partner for “Albert” let us know and maybe something can be arranged for our moosehead.

We also have a mounted caribou head.

Both items can be considered for deaccessioning as we have removed them from Irving House. They were not original to the family nor are they typical of New Westminster.

We would love to have this as part of our displays

This is moose country and it would fit in so nicely.

We have 8 acres right on the 108 mile lake and 13 heritage buildings

Hello all,

We have a moose head at the Whistler Museum that we are looking to give away. Although he is super cool, we don't have any moose in Whistler and he does take up quite a lot of space, and I can't justify keeping him with all the storage issues we're having at the moment.

"Albert" came to us from Ridgeway Elementary School in North Vancouver, where I believe he was the library mascot for a number of years. He is in need of repair - as you can see from the photograph, the top of his head has split and will need sewing together. Apart from that he is in reasonable condition (no bald patches, could do with a dust) and has a pleasant smile about his lips, which is quite endearing. If any museum would like to pick him up he is going for free.
