[BCMA] Chase Museum Fire

We at the Revelstoke Railway Museum are very sorry to learn of the disaster in Chase!  It is something we all dread and our thoughts are with the community and the museum staff.
If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know.  We may be able to help with recovery materials or other support if the collection is salvageable.

We are shocked and saddened to have just this moment learned through CBC Radio of the apparent fire--the second in 4 days--that has severely damaged if not destroyed the Chase & District Museum & Archives Society, a longtime BCMA Institutional Member. Reportedly many of the collections have been destroyed, but the report was sketchy. 


We are eager for an update on the situation in Chase & ask that anyone with more detail, and indeed if any museums in the area are able to assist in any way.
