You know what they say - truth is stranger than fiction! So far, only one
person has guessed correctly, so does that mean our truth is more outrageous
than our fiction?

Great idea, Tammy!

Is there a prize for guessing all of the stories correctly?

How good are you at telling fact from fiction? Do you pride yourself on
being able to spot a lie? Or maybe you just like a good guessing game?

Well then, you need to come down to the Creston Museum this summer and match
wits with our staff and volunteers. We have chosen twelve objects
throughout the Museum. Each one has its history presented right alongside.
Eleven of those histories are fact: the whole truth, and nothing but. One
of them, though, is what the literary types call "creative writing" - pure
fiction, entirely made up, not a grain of truth to be found.

Can you figure out which ones are artifacts, and which is artifiction?

To take the challenge, just come into the Museum. Regular admission rates
apply, or you can download and print a coupon from our website
<http://www.creston.museum.bc.ca/webpage/id/29> and bring it in to enjoy
admission-by-donation. You will see all of the selected objects during your
tour. Read the histories, make your choice, and record your vote before you
leave.

Each Wednesday, beginning on June 1, we'll feature one of the objects on our
website <http://www.creston.museum.bc.ca/webpage/id/29> and in I Love
Creston <http://www.ilovecreston.com/> 's Daily Buzz. Click on the links to
let us know whether you think each week's story is fact or fiction! We'll
post the voting results, and reveal the artifiction at the end of the
summer.

See you at the Creston Museum - 219 Devon Street, Creston, BC

Tammy
