Come one come all to the Penticton Art Gallery's 34th Annual Art Auction
~6:00 p.m. Thursday July 7, 2011

Greetings!

We’ve had the good fortune to see three decades of fun – and successful – 
art auctions to fund raise for a great community resource: The Penticton Art 
Gallery. This year marks our 34th such event…and it couldn’t happen without 
you and we hope that you can not only attend but also help us spread the 
word and bring along a friend or two.

As a member of the Board of Directors and this year’s Auction Committee 
Chair, I invite you to our 2011 Starry, Starry Night auction. Members of the 
Committee and gallery staff have worked hard to create a memorable event, 
and we would love to have you with us for the evening to celebrate and 
support the arts.

This year, the auction is held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort and will 
feature the culinary creations of Chef Chris along with a host bar provided 
by award-winning Naramata Bench Wineries. After all, we’re in the heart of 
wine country. All the works are currently on display in the gallery and are 
in the process of being uploaded on our website at:

In the event you are unable to attend this years auction you can leave a bid 
in advance either in person at the gallery or by phoning us at, (250)

The theme: Andy Warhol’s Factory – and we’re going all out. Expect a few 
surprises, and feel encouraged to dress in the style of the era and you 
could also wine some amazing prizes. Our cool cat friends at Vintage & Vogue 
will be outfitting the art handlers in Warhol-era fashion and if your 
feeling like getting some new vintage duds they will gladly outfit you as
well.

Food, wine, music and great art. What more could one ask for?

Tickets are $75 for members and $95 for non-members, available for purchase
