Make your mark on Canada Day at the Royal BC Museum

Victoria, BC - Families are invited to get inspired by Canada Day and make their mark at a free sidewalk chalk party at the Royal BC Museum. Local chalk artist Ian Morris will create a large artwork on the upper courtyard while families chalk their own messages, doodles and Canada-themed masterpieces on the lower courtyard between 10 am and 3 pm on Friday, July 1.
Museum volunteers will provide chalk and free youth passes to families participating in the event. Under the giant Canadian flag in the lobby, Royal BC Museum lanyards will be given out to the first 400 paid museum admissions, and special buttons to the first 1,500 paid museum visitors.
