Sleeping with Woolly Mammoth at the Royal BC Museum
Victoria, BC - Have you ever wondered what happens at a museum at night, after everyone goes home? Find out at the Royal BC Museum’s first-ever “Night at the Museum” Family Sleepover on May 13-14, 2011.
Families will explore the galleries after hours with activities, games, stories, snacks, flashlight tours and a late night IMAX film. Familiar spaces - experienced in new ways - provide a magical and memorable evening. After an evening of adventures, kids age 6 and up and their parents crawl into sleeping bags then curl up next to Woolly Mammoth, the seashore or rainforest displays.
In the morning, families limber up with yoga, have a pancake breakfast, and also have the option of visiting the museum during the day on Saturday, all included with registration.
