We are pleased to invite you to join us prior to the GO Party! fundraiser on Friday, May 13, 2011 for an Artist's Talk & Tour at the Gallery from 6-6:30 pm. This free event is your opportunity to get a first look at the exhibition Gabor Szilasi: The Eloquence of the Everyday, meet the artist, and also discuss the work with him and guest curator, David Harris. 

 

Please note that while this is a free event, guests who wish to stay for the GO Party! fundraiser (opening reception for Gabor Szilasi: The Eloquence of the Everyday) are required to buy a ticket. Tickets are $15 for members, $20 for non-members.

A note about GO Party! 5: Elegance & Eloquence

 

While the event carries a fun, early 1960s theme - do not feel obligated to dress up! Many guests will be getting into the spirit, but if that's "just not your thing" - don't worry! We hope to see you this Friday.

 

BUT, if you are wanting to dress to impress...you needn't spend a fortune! Value Village is an incredibly affordable option for vintage wear. Likewise, numerous consignment stores carry items that will fit the part. And if you want to be really ambitious, there's always Calowna Costume or The Tickle Trunk.

GO Party! 5: Elegance & Eloquence

Friday, May 13, 2011, 7-10 pm

 

This fundraiser is also the opening reception for Gabor Szilasi: The Eloquence of the Everyday. 

Elegance & Eloquence invites attendees to show off their style and sophistication, emulating the fashion of Hollywood icons such as Warren Beatty, Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, and the incomparable Audrey Hepburn.  The evening will feature door prizes, a silent auction, complimentary refreshments, a cash bar, and musical entertainment by jazz singer Anna Jacyszyn.
