The City of Burnaby is seeking an artist or artist collective. The party selected will be
engaged to develop a concept(s) for a public art project that will be located at the
entrance to the new Edmonds Pool and Community Centre in Burnaby, BC. This Request for
Expression of Interest (RFEOI) provides an exciting opportunity for a new work of public
art for the City of Burnaby, as outlined in the RFEOI as posted on BC Bid.

This RFEOI is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website
(www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the RFEOI documents directly
from the aforementioned website. No registration, tracking or other recording of RFEOI
document holders will be performed by the City. All addenda, amendments or further
information will be published on the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the
respondent to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.

Submissions must be delivered, in duplicate, including a soft copy on a CD or memory
stick, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "RFEOI #55-04/11 Request for Expression of
Interest Edmonds Pool and Community Centre Public Art Project," on or before 3:00 pm,
local time, Thursday, July 7, 2011, as follows:

Late submissions will be returned unopened. Submissions and/or amendments will not be
accepted by facsimile or email.
