REMEMBRANCE DAY OPEN HOUSE at the okanagan military museum

The Okanagan Military Museum invites you and your family to a Remembrance Day Open House on Friday, November 11th from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. We encourage you to attend the ceremony at the City Park Cenotaph and then make your way over to the Okanagan Military Museum at 1424 Ellis Street, inside the Memorial Arena. Come explore the many remembrance-themed exhibits and interpretative displays. Coffee, hot chocolate and light snacks will be provided and free parking is available at the Memorial Arena. Admission is by donation and all are welcome to attend.

The Okanagan Military Museum is dedicated to the preservation and awareness of Okanagan military heritage and to honouring the memory of the men and women who have served in the Canadian forces. Currently on display is the BC Dragoons Centennial Exhibit which looks back on one hundred years of the BC Dragoons in the Okanagan. Come see what's new and join in remembrance at the Okanagan Military Museum.
