[BCMA] 2012 BC Sports Hall of Fame Nomination Deadline is October 1, 2011

Do you know a British Columbian who has accomplished sporting greatness? The
BC Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for 2012 until October 1,
2011.

The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum preserves and honours BC's sport
heritage by recognizing extraordinary achievements in sport.  All nominees
must have attained a high level of excellence at a senior level of
competition and have brought honour to BC sport through their passion,
commitment and dedication to sport.

Nomination Forms can be downloaded from
http://www.bcsportshalloffame.com/inductees/induction/ . You will also find
a complete list of all BC Sports Hall of Famers. Categories for
consideration: Athlete, Builder, Pioneers, Media, Team, and WAC Bennett.

About the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum

The BC Sports Hall of Fame, a non-profit society, is the 'go to'
organization for BC sport heritage. For over 40 years, we have honoured BC's
teams, builders, athletes, pioneers, and media through the annual induction
ceremony, the Banquet of Champions. Including the 2011 Class to be inducted
on September 13, 2011, 325 individuals and 52 teams have been inducted onto
the BC Sports Hall of Fame. The collection of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and
Museum includes over 25,000 artifacts and 20,000 archival documents
representing 100 years of sporting accomplishments in British Columbia. In
everything it does, the BC Sports Hall of Fame honours, educates, and
