The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts Presents the World Premiere of MACHiNENOiSY's Tempus Fugitive

BURNABY, BC -  The world premiere of MACHiNENOiSY's Tempus Fugitive premieres October 12th at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.   A transcendent work that will captivate audiences as it merges the spiritual with the theatrical, the sensual with the conceptual.   As a world premiere, the Shadbolt Centre recognizes Tempus Fugitive as a work of international calibre which speaks to the key role the centre plays as a presenting partner in Metro Vancouver.  Talented, professional Shadbolt Centre technicians collaborate with artistic directors Delia Brett and Daelik to support this innovative work and to realize the artists' vision.

Unfolding in the manner of a science fiction movie, Tempus Fugitive explores aging and memory by juxtaposing visual references to the science fiction Daelik watched as a child, along with his childhood memories of the home environment in which he grew up.  MACHiNENOiSY is a contemporary dance company that fosters the research and creation of performances which go beyond traditional notions of dance and theatre.  The work of MACHiNENOiSY has been presented locally, nationally and internationally.
Tempus Fugitive runs October 12-15 at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.  Performances begin at 8pm. Tickets are $32 adults, $27, student & senior or $25 Sole Series or A La Carte (create your very own series by choosing three or more shows p.p. from the Shadbolt Centre's 2011/12 theatre season and receive the A La Carte price).
