[BCMA] Monthly speakers

The Maple Ridge Historical Society has had a monthly speaker program for 
decades.  Until about 5 years ago, we had reasonable turnouts - 
certainly enough to keep the program going.  Since then, there has been 
a steady decline as some society stalwarts have passed away and not been 
replaced by younger members.

I was wondering how many BC museums/archives/historical societies still 
maintain a speakers program and is it successful enough to warrant the 
work that goes into organizing it.  If your programs are successful, 
what are you doing right?
