The Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives celebrates the traditions of the Coast Salish people with this 2 day weaving workshop, facilitated by Jessica Casey. Ms. Casey is a self taught weaver of Coast Salish and Portuguese decent, born and raised in Egmont, B.C. 

You will learn the skills of cedar weaving and over the course of the weekend, complete a traditional cedar hat to take home. 

Saturday and Sunday will be full days of weaving from 10am to 4pm each day. The cost of the workshop is $250 and includes all the supplies necessary to weave your hat. No experience necessary. Please pack snacks and a lunch.
