[BCMA] table id?

Ansco is an old name in the photography business. I suspect this is a 
table for accurately positioning an early type of commercial projector 
-- a theory only because I have never seen one.  The felt is a hint that 
preventing slipping would be a concern. It appears to be early 20th 
century.
