Antiques Roadshow Fundraiser & Heritage Fair





When:             Saturday, February 25th from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm 



Where:            Sunnycrest Mall, 900 Gibsons Way, Gibsons, B.C.



What:              Professional Appraisers – Up to 3 items/person

                $15 for 1 item, $20 for 2 items, $25 for 3 items, $30 flat fee for collections

Free Admission, Heritage Displays, Mystery Item Contest, & Membership Drive

Do you have any items tucked away that are collectable, unusual, historical, or antique? Want to know more about them, including what they’re worth? Bring them down to the 11th Annual Antiques Roadshow and Heritage Fair on Saturday, February 25th. This major fundraising event will be held at the Sunnycrest Mall in Gibsons from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Fascinating and valuable items have been “discovered” in the past. Will your item be the next big discovery?

Qualified appraisers generously donate their time and expertise to appraise a variety of items including paintings, stamps and coins, silver, jewelry, rare books, collectables, china, military items and much more.  Appraisals will be limited to a maximum of 3 items per person so that as many participants as possible can be seen. Admission is free but an appraisal will cost $15 for 1 item, $20 for 2 items, and $25 for 3 items. A flat fee of $30 will be charged for a collection and it will be considered as one item.

As part of the event, we will be hosting a Heritage Fair with displays from the Museum, the Sechelt Archives, Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society and the Egmont Heritage Center. 

This is a major fundraising event for the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives.  All proceeds support Museum services and programs. Donations are greatly appreciated and by purchasing a museum membership you can enter a draw to win a gift pack valued at over $100 retail.
