Calling all Wedding shutterbugs!

Kelowna Museums Needs your Wedding Pictures for Upcoming Exhibit


Have you ever wanted to be part of a museum exhibit, but thought "I'm not famous enough to be put on display."? Well here is your chance to be part of a great new exhibit set to launch in March at the Okanagan Heritage Museum. "How the heck is the museum going to put me on display?" you ask. Well, it's simple. We need your wedding pictures! As part of our new exhibit we will be displaying the wedding photos of the Okanagan's love birds. Any pictures that you or your friends and family may have of your wedding ceremony, the reception, the dress, the beautiful (if you were so lucky) bridesmaids dresses, anything and everything from ANY era, that clearly shows a wedding is taking place, will be put on display for all to see. Want to get involved? Great! All we need you to do is send us, via email, a high resolution JPEG of the photos you would like to share to: events at kelownamuseums.ca with the subject heading Something Borrowed, Something Blue. It's a pretty simple and fun way to be displayed in a museum, it's also a great reason to pull out the old wedding album and go through the fun pictures!
