Reports: National museums still hunting for cash despite being spared from Tory budget cuts

Despite getting spared the axe in the last federal budget, 5 of Canada's national museums say they are still
scraping by, looking for money to cover costs. The National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian War
Museum, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Canadian Museum of Nature and the Canadian
Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax say they are looking for private dollars to wean themselves off
