grande comme un homme surplombe la salle. Dans les années 1960, ce modèle d'ordinateur, le PDP-8,

Museum recreates prehistoric times

 He may not be familiar with Dr. Grant from the movie Jurassic Park, but Royal B.C. Museum curator of 
botany and earth history Richard Hebda still knows his dinosaurs. The museum, which has a new exhibit, 
Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries, running to Sept. 16, does have some fossils from the

$90 million expansion of Quebec museum planned

 Quebec's National Museum of Fine Arts is planning a $90 million expansion project funded in part by the 
Governments of Quebec and Canada and its own foundation. The provincial and federal governments will 
each provide $33.7 million and the foundation will provide $22.6 million. The museum is scheduled to open

Promenade Gallery opens with work by artist/owner

 Asma Arshad Mahmood has opened Promenade Gallery in Lakeview with an exhibition of her work called 
Treks and Trails: In Memory of Letters Lost. The paintings are a homage to her father who died last year. 
Mahmood says she normally paints figures, but somehow these paintings of Himalayan mountains and 
valleys emerged on her canvas. They represent places she saw with her father when she was a child.
