Kalamalka Lake and shade from the two large Linden trees so you can find
your perfect spot to listen from!

 

Brass on the Grass

For a magical summer evening enjoy "Fish on Five" Friday, July 27 6:00
pm-8:00 pm on the Mackie Lake House grounds. What on earth is "Fish on
Five"?  It's a whacky name for five friends - all brass musicians with the
Okanagan Symphony who share two great loves - music - and fishing! This
brass quintet featuring Dennis Colpitts, Edmund House, Wade Dorsey, Bruce
Dougall and Reynold Epp offer a musical menu including sing-alongs,
toe-tappers, classics, jazz and more. We invite you to bring your own picnic
supper- or just come to listen to marvelous music on a summer evening.
Remember to bring lawn chairs or a blanket so you can fully enjoy the
performance. 

BRASS ON THE GRASS featuring "Fish on Five" is a partnership between Mackie
Lake House and the North Okanagan Community Concert Association.  Purchase
your tickets in advance, $15 per ticket by calling (250)-545-1019 or at the
gate.
