Government responds to War of 1812 omission

 The Department of Canadian Heritage has responded to CBC's query about why First Nations 
representatives were left out of the War of 1812 re-enactment during the Tall Ships Festival in Halifax last 
week. Parks Canada wasn't able to respond before our story went to air Wednesday, but the heritage

fermera définitivement ses portes d'ici la fin de 2013, selon une source au ministère de l'Environnement du 
Canada. Les activités éducatives de la Biosphère, telles que les conférences dans les écoles et les visites

Museum presents history of cattle ranching

 Canada Agriculture Museum visitors can go back in time and see real artifacts from cattle ranching and the 
first 100 years of the Calgary Stampede's history. "Ranching is part of agriculture, so this was a perfect 
match for the museum," said Suzanne Beauvais, assistant curator at the museum. The new display, 
curated by Franz Klingender, has been on this summer and will run at the museum until November. It 
features artifacts and cowboy gear from the early days of cattle ranching. More/LIRE PLUS

 Les huit tableaux volés de Guido Molinari ont été retrouvés, mercredi soir, et un suspect a été arrêté. 
L'homme originaire de Saint-Sauveur a été appréhendé en voiture, sur la voie publique. Il avait en sa 
possession une des toiles. Les autres peintures ont été retrouvées à sa résidence. L'homme de 40 ans a

Last New Brunswick Avenger makes final flight

 The last of the fleet of Second World War era Avengers used for aerial spraying in New Brunswick flew 
over the province for the final time on its way to become a museum exhibit at a base where it once served 
in the Halifax area. Avenger pilots and other aviation enthusiasts called it a sad day as the former navy
