To whom it may concern,

This summer Bamberton, "one of the most important historic industrial 
sites in BC," is celebrating its centennial, and the Bamberton 
Historical Society is hosting events on-site (1451 Trowsse Road, Mill 
Bay, BC V0R 2P4) during the month of July. We were hoping that you would 
be able to add these events to your Island interest, local events, 
historic events, or community events calendar.


On the 8th of July from 11:00am-5:00pm there will be games and 
entertainment, tea in the garden, guided bus and walking tours, 
demonstrations special guests, a book launch for the newly published 
book, and more to celebrate this centennial. Admission is $10 per person 
and more information can be found at www.bambertonheritagesociety.org, 
by calling 250-743-9196, or by contacting Maureen Alexander at 
dalexander2 at shaw.ca.

On July 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 11:00am-5:00pm there will be guided 
bus and walking tours, a specially produced documentary movie, more of 
the book launch. Admission is $10 per person and more information can be
