AGM Luncheon & Workshop:

This special 1-day event builds on the success of last December's 1-day 
Conference, offering a Special Guest Speaker, a preview of Conference 
2012 workshops, AGM Luncheon and "Afternoon Cafe" roundtable 
discussions--a prime opportunity for members & stakeholders to provide 
YOUR ideas and vital input as BCMA moves forward in an ever-challenging 
organizational climate....See below...

8:30 - 9:00am:Check-in / Registration 

9:00 - 10:15am:Special Guest Speaker (invited): Andria Teather,
                                    Vice-President, Grants and Community Initiatives,
                                    Vancouver Foundation: "Stakeholder Results - 
                                    Civic Malaise & Renewed Engagement Practices" 

10:30 - 12:00noon:Conference 2012 Sneak Preview: 

Workshop 1: "Experiments in Community 
Engagement (The Reach Gallery Museum 
Abbotsford") with Scott Marsden 

Workshop 2: "Online Marketing for Cultural
                                Tourism Operators" with Rob Cooper, founder of 
PlusROI Online Marketing, Victoria, BC 

12:00noon - 1:15pm:AGM Luncheon, Meeting & Conference 2012

1:30 - 3:00pm:Afternoon Cafe - Facilitated Roundtable Discussions.

-Programs & Services: What do you Need & Want as
                   a Museum or Art Gallery in BC? 

Bring your ideas for an envigorating exchange that will help guide the 
Association's continued development and service to the provincial 
community. 

Members & non-members are welcome to register for "all day" rates 
including the special guest speaker, workshops, AGM Luncheon & 
Afternoon Cafe roundtables. Those only able to attend the AGM Luncheon 
may purchase a ticket in advance (for catering purposes). 

Registration details will be available on the BCMA website on Monday, 
June 18th.
