[BCMA] MSA Pioneer Book

*MSA Pioneers Wanted! *
Was your family a "pioneer family" of Abbotsford (formerly
Matsqui/Sumas/Abbotsford), BC? Did they settle in the area between 1890 and
1950? If so, the MSA Museum Society would like to hear from you before
August 1st, 2012!

Our society and the MSA Pioneers Association are partnering to publish a
coffee-table book with the stories of Abbotsford pioneer families, as told
by the pioneers themselves or their descendants, including memorabilia and
photographs.

The book will be published in May 2013.

At present we are trying to contact as many people as possible who may want
to contribute to this project.

Would your organization be able to help us? Specifically, by

1. Printing and posting the attached poster on your organization’s bulletin
board.

2. Forwarding the poster and Mission Statement to any individual/agency in
your social/work network that might be interested in it.

This book promises to be a valuable addition to the history of our
community, and we greatly appreciate your help in getting the word out.
