Follow Dino Tracks to Canada Day at the Royal BC Museum

VICTORIA, BC - Families are invited to get inspired by Canada Day and make their mark at a free sidewalk chalk party.  Just follow the dinosaur footprints that lead to the Royal BC Museum.

Families can chalk their own messages, doodles and Canada-themed masterpieces on the courtyard between 10 am and 3 pm on Sunday, July 1.  Museum volunteers will supply the chalk for onsite use.  A free Royal BC Museum t-shirt will be given to the first 200 youth with paid museum admissions, and a free lanyard and button will be given to the next 500 paid museum admissions.
Find your way to the museum by following the Albertasaurus. His trackways, created with non-toxic paint that fades over time, are along Douglas Street from City Hall, along Government Street from the Bay Centre and along Belleville from the Best Western - Inner Harbour.
