[BCMA] Nanaimo Museum Upcoming Community Events

Nanaimo Museum Presents:

 

Our Feathered Friends: Urban Bird Tours

Kevin Storey, tour guide and local birder, will take visitors on an
urban bird walk around downtown Nanaimo, on March 10, April 14, May 5,
2012 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, departing from the museum. This costs $15
per person and pre-registration and payment is required. 

 

Nature Photography Contest: Now until May 1 at 4:00pm

The contest is open to amateur photographers and endorsed by the Harbour
City Photography Club. The three categories are; Kids: up to 9 years,
Youth:  10-14 years, and Adults: 15 years plus. The theme is Nature,
with an additional theme for adults, of birds. Please see our website
for details. Prizes will be awarded on May 18 and the best 20
photographs will be displayed at the museum.
