APRIL FOOLS AT CRAIGDARROCH CASTLE
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada -  Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum is pleased to announce the return of its annual April Fool's Day program.  Every year, curatorial staff at Craigdarroch place unusual, funny and historically inaccurate items in each room of the Castle.  Guests are given a checklist of items to search for and the answers are provided for visitors to determine if they have spotted the anomalies.
"Craigdarroch Castle's April Fool's program has been successful for many years and brings an extra experience to our exhibits," explains Elisabeth Hazell, Craigdarroch's Manager of Operations and Development.  "By looking critically at our displays, it offers the opportunity to truly examine the artifacts with a quizzical mind.  With over 7,000 artifacts in our collection, it is easy to miss some of the most beautiful objects on display.  The April Fool's program is a great way to spend some extra time taking in the variety of furniture, decorations and artifacts.  Of course, it is also a lot of fun to see the more ridiculous items that work their way into The Castle."
Ranging from modern day items to humorous arrangements of toys, visiting The Castle on April Fool's Day is always a delight.  Regular admission rates apply and as always, "I Spy" maps are available for children to play their own game.
