Hi Mark,
The First Peoples' Heritage, Language and Cultural Council also completed a
similar exercise in mapping Indigenous artists across BC, knowledge and
cultural educators, resources, etc. This was a fascinating project which I
believe was completed under the lead of Cathi Charles Wherry.
Warm regards,
April Ingham

Subject: [BCMA] Co-presentation at Conference?
Has any museum, gallery or heritage site used Community Mapping as a tool to
engage with specific groups in their community?
We are currently engaged in a Community Mapping exercise here in Delta, and
would like to present our methodology and results at Conference 2012.
Working with another group who has employed this technique would make for a
more interesting and enriching session.
Please contact me if you are interested in co-presenting in Kamloops on this
subject.
Thanks in advance,
Mark Sakai
