Collecting Matisse: Two sisters ahead of their time
The Globe and Mail Share/Partager
"It took a lot of gall - guts - to paint it," Henri Matisse was known to have said about his once-
controversial Fauve-period paintings, "but much more to buy it." So recalled his grandson, Claude Duthuit,
in a November, 2010, interview, a few months before Duthuit's death. More/LIRE PLUS

More/LIRE PLUS

Swords, helmets and armour all feature at Montreal samurai exhibit
The Canadian Press Share/Partager
Lacquered in gold, the armour of the noble samurai Edo glistens in the spotlight. His imposing helmet,
adorned with fake water buffalo horns, makes him just as intimidating now as he was several hundred
years ago. More/LIRE PLUS

More

Moore says sex museum a grey area
London Free Press Share/Partager
The graphic sex exhibit at the Museum of Science and Technology is entering its second week in this city,
despite demands from some family groups to shut it down. More/LIRE PLUS

Célébrons Wesselmann au Musée des beaux-arts
La Presse Share/Partager
 «Today, I celebrate!»
Oldenburg, Dine... More/LIRE PLUS

A new season of learning at Welland museum
Welland Tribune Share/Partager
Everything old was free Saturday when Welland Historical Museum celebrated International Museum Day
and the start of a new season. The museum reopened to the public recentky. During the closure staff
members were busy reorganizing projects to bring the museum's galleries and storage facilities up to
standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. More/LIRE PLUS
