Inuvialuk artist has solo show at Washington's Smithsonian

 Abraham Anghik Ruben has become the first Inuvialuk sculptor to get a solo show at the Smithsonian's 
American Indian Museum in Washington, D.C.. The carver - who works in bone, stone, ivory and bronze

CMHR brings educators together

Alberta Aviation Museum wins fourth national award
The Edmonton Examiner Share/Partager 
 Edmonton's City Centre Airport may be shutting down, but the neighbouring Alberta Aviation Museum is 
still being recognized as one of the best in the country, and hopes to stay that way. The museum received 
its fourth national award in as many years at the 2012 Canadian Aeronautical Preservation Association 
conference in Hamilton, ON. However, it's not about the accolades, according to executive director of the

Artist Ted Godwin hospitalized

 The 79 year old painter, who was born in Calgary and graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of 
Technology (And Art) in 1955, is in hospital and has developed pneumonia, according to Museum of
