Hello all--
Interpretation Canada (IC) is a national professional association for
nature and heritage interpreters and other informal educators and will
be hosting their fourth annual *National Online Conference on November
27-29, 2012*. A series of six hour-long sessions will be offered over
the three days of the conference and there are individual and whole-site
registration options available.
Connecting you with experts from across North America, this conference
explores how to take interpretation to the next level. Our keynote
speaker, Sam Ham, author and professor at the University of Idaho, will
give us a preview of his revised and updated book and will share his
latest thoughts on writing strong interpretive themes. Our five other
presenters will explore learner-centered education, audience engagement,
interpretive special events, online marketing and inspiring change.
These Online Conferences have been an extremely successful model for IC,
allowing even those in remote locations to participate in engaging
professional development, without the associated costs of travel.
Come join us in exploring cutting edge topics on heritage
interpretation, delivered right to your computer. Grab a coffee, pull up
a chair, and log-in to this exciting event!
