[BCMA] Marquetry Workshop Oct 27-28 2012

Hi all,

Time is fast approaching to register for this wonderful workshop.

 

In this 2 day course you will learn the fine art of Veneering and Inlay. The
workshop teaches the basics you need to know to get started. Topics include:
choosing wood for impact; planning your work; matching; gluing, clamping and
taping; and how to inlay and repair veneers. Some materials included, a
small list of supplies required by students.

 

Instructor Karen Trickett is a graduate of Camosun College's Fine Furniture
program and has taught woodworking since 1996. Karen is well-known for her
custom woodworking and custom-built furniture. Adding veneer, inlay and
marquetry to her designs has enhanced their beauty and she shares the basics
with other woodworkers in the two-day workshop, 

 

October 27-28 2012

9:00am-5:00pm

Course Fee:  $250.00 + HST (for CWBS Members)

$300.00 +HST for non members

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required 

to secure your spot (Deposit non-refundable unless the Cowichan Bay Maritime
Centre cancels the class)balance due 1 week before start of workshop

This workshop requires a minimum of 8 students with a maximum of 12
students.
