The Apple of the Kelowna Museums Eye: The 24th Annual Apple Fair makes its way to the Laurel Packinghouse.

Fall has arrived and that means the Okanagan’s pioneer fruit has been harvested and is ready to make its big appearance at the 24th Annual Apple Fair. On Saturday, October 20th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Kelowna Museums Society will host this family friendly event in the historic Laurel Packinghouse.

“The Apple Fair is a great way to not only learn about the different varieties of apples available here in the Okanagan, but to support your local orchards and take pride in knowing that such food comes from our own back yard,” says Jasmine Marshall, Curatorial Assistant for the Kelowna Museums.

With over 24 varieties available to taste, vendors such as Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Spinners and Weavers, Okanagan Tree Fruits and the Women’s shelter, just to name a few, and entertainment from Westside Square Dance Club and much, much more, this year promises to be a great event for the whole family.

Admission at the door: $2 per person, $5 per family.
