Hi!

I just want to share an exciting new development to the Squamish Culture 
& Heritage Festival, November 23 & 24 at Quest University Canada. Telus 
has announced that they will be granting the Squamish Historical Society 
$2500 towards the event. Further, they will be donating an authentic 
telephone switchboard like the one in the photograph attached. The 
switchboard will be brought over from Vancouver Island and will be on 
display at the festival. Myrtle Hurford, who is also in the photo 
attached and worked at the Squamish telephone exchange in the 1950's, is 
scheduled to be one of the event's speakers. She will now be giving her 
talk in front of the switchboard.
